OK so its been 2 months. I think I’ve proved that I’m not very good at this blogging business, but I’m going to try harder. I’ve noticed for the first time that some people actually liked (and therefore must have read!) my first post about getting rid of a bag of sugar. That in itself is a huge boost, because I’m writing this anonymously, as a mental aide to me losing weight rather than for followers or for people to read what I write…but am chuffed to bits at least 1 other person read my post!
In an update on the bags of sugar front, I’ve shifted a further 8 bags of sugar, taking my total weight loss so far to 1 stone 8.5lbs :)
On paper it sounds pretty amazing. But I’m slightly disappointed as, in this time, lots of people have commented that my face looks thinner, but surely I can’t have lost 1 stone from my face?! The parts that matter- as in my stomach, hips and butt- are still huge in my opinion. And please don’t draw the inference that I am some sort of whale, whereby 1 stone weight loss makes no difference, not at all. I’m just having lessons in the reality of getting the body I want…think it will be more like 4 stone loss now rather than 2.
So reality check, and what I have learnt in the last 2 months:
1. 1 stone 8.5lbs sounds like a lot, but those 9 pesky bags of sugar are hidden well in my body…might have to start talking bags of 5kg rice instead :/
2. Eating any sort of savoury pastry snack is NOT WORTH IT…there are unknown huge amounts of crap in those things, so resist the temptation to buy one at the 7/11 on the way home from Friday night work drinks. You’ll fuck your whole dieting week up (trust me I can vouch for this).
3. Water is good. Drink lots, use a Bobble bottle because its cute and it makes drinking water fun :)
4. Chorizo is the DEVILS SAUSAGE
I’m going to document my attempts to lose weight through this thing more regularly. If anything its going to be a good laugh to read back when my Beyonce (pre-pregancy) body appears, or even if it doesnt :)
